After you get up in the morning, set a 10 minute timer and do something productive.
This might be writing, outlining your day, replying to emails, writing the outline to your next blogpost, writing down 10 article ideas, etc.
Do it until the time runs out, and then carry on with your usual morning routine.
This sets a productive tone for the day and forms a good work habit.
Plus it gets your mind onto work, and makes it that much easier to resume work after you finish your morning routine.
